July 16 saw the Peace Center Seniors sharing good food, good fellowship, and good news during their annual summer field trip to Middendorf’s Seafood Restaurant in Slidell, LA.

As our guests devoured fried seafood and delicious desserts, we gave our attention to a speaker from Xavier University’s School of Pharmacology, who gave us tips on heart health! We all appreciated the irony.

Our seniors always appreciate this special trip, and we appreciate the generosity of the donors who have helped the Peace Center provide the bus and the opportunity to be together.
