After School Program
Does your child need help with homework? A place to hang out after school? A place to play?
Monday through Friday (3:30 – 5:30 PM) every week when school is in session, our staff and volunteers provide homework assistance, snacks, and playtime for neighborhood students ages 6-13. Spaces are available for quiet work time.
Summer Enrichment Camp
In June, we offer two camp experiences, each one week in length, for boys or girls ages 7-10. Each week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, campers enjoy breakfast, lunch, field trips, computers and other creative experiences. Student counselors plan and chaperone the activities along with Peace Center staff.
Isaiah 43 Project
The Isaiah 43 Project, through Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New Orleans, works with local parishes and schools to provide parenting skills classes. The Peace Center assists at St. Rita School with volunteers who provide meals, child care and activities for the children.
